The Art culture and community is integral to any understanding of Philadelphia.

The Philly Art scene can boast about a vibrant:
Visual art scene; replete with a dense concentration of galleries and museums and exhibitions.

Public Works Art Scene; from  Love Park  to the Clothespin, to the dwarfing infamy of the MSB building game board. Our public works pop pieces will forever inspire and define Philadelphia culture.

The mural arts program has always affected me in a profound way as a backdrop for my childhood. Whether in the middle of center city splendor or in the most desecrated of  communities, the imaginative effort of a mural transforms and overwhelms the space with beauty and creativity.

Our fashion scene, while underrated, is over-qualified to compete on a global scale; wedged close to the coastline between New York and D.C, Philly’s style is both Premier and Unique.
Nothing says Philly like food. But Philadelphia takes culinary culture to many whole new levels.

Well-renowned for our street fare and short order delights like cheesesteaks, soft pretzels, water ice and hoagies, we also have a haute couture culinary culture in 5 star restaurants, al fresco dining and charming byobs.

Part of what will transition Philadelphia’s global impact is our development of sustainable and innovative social ventures.  Philly food talk wouldn’t be complete without understanding our Community Supported Agricultural scene.
