This blog can barely scratch the surface of the technical logistics of an energy independent future.

In this tech age however the conversation is a necessity. More people using more gadgets, not just for pleasure,  but for business, even for survival; consumption is at an all time high.

Whether at home, involving transportation or throughout daily life we will need to evaluate and reduce our consumption and possibly diversify our energy sources.

I predict a time in the future where individuals will be responsible for supplying their own personal energy.

Until then, we can prepare by paying attention to our carbon footprint.

We can make small changes and life choices that reduce, reuse or recycle energy and consider alternate sources of energy including micromade, self-made and commercially available choices.
You can reduce energy through things like energy-efficient appliances, or reuse it, by using converting light energy into natural lighting and thermal energy, or even recycle it for instance by turning gardening scraps into compost.

by designing the future with energy efficiency in mind, we pave the way to a sustainable, socially responsible future.
